What You Need To Know About AirSnore
AirSnore is a two-part snoring solution that you can either buy separately, or together. It consists of two major parts. First, there is the mouthpiece. And secondly, there are the oil drops. Both of these products work a little differently.
But, when combined, they are said to deliver quite the anti-snoring combo. Of course, we were not quite sure what to think about them at first, so we did a little bit of research. Here is what we discovered.
AirSnore Product Classification And Instructions For Use
Since there are actually two different products offered by this brand, we are going to discuss both.
The mouthpiece is most definitely classified as a Mandibular Advancement Device, or MAD. The drops, on the other hand, fall under the realm of an Aromatherapy treatment.
The instructions for use on both products are pretty simple. The mouthpiece gets fitted using boil and bite technology before you use it, to ensure a proper fit. Once you do this, you sleep with it in your mouth, every night, to help open up the upper airway.
The anti-snoring drops, on the other hand, you rub on your chest, neck, and under your nose before going to bed… so that you can inhale the essential oils as you sleep.
How Do The AirSnore Products Work?
Both of these products actually work quite differently, so we will discuss them separately.
The mouth guard, which is an MAD, works by slightly advancing your jawline once you set it into place. After pre-fitting it at home by boiling it and then biting down on it (make sure you follow the instructions carefully!), you will then wear it every night while sleeping. It will keep your lower jaw pulled forward ever so slightly, which will then open up the upper airway – creating more room for you to breathe.
The AirSnore drops, on the other hand, work a bit differently. These drops are made from essential oils, and are designed to help fight congestion and inflammation in the nasal passages. If you tend to suffer from allergies or nasal snoring, then these drops are the way to go.
To use them, you put a few drops onto your chest, neck, and under your nose. Then, you just go to sleep. As you breathe in the oils, they will help to open up your sinus passages… thereby giving you more room to breathe and decreasing your risk of nasal snoring.
Clinical Background And FDA Approval
According to the official website, all of the products produced by AirSnore are designed and manufactured in FDA approved facilities, to the highest standards… using the highest quality ingredients and materials.
With that being said, it does not seem that either of these products, specifically, are FDA approved for the treatment of any particular condition.
As for clinical trials or testing, it would seem that both of them are said to have helped thousands of people… at least, this is what the landing page of the official website says. But, from what we could tell, there was no other indication of clinical testing or anything else like that.
Can There Be Any Side Effects?
The AirSnore Drops utilize a few different ingredients, including Sunflower Seed Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Lavender Oil, Peppermint Leaf Oil, and Scots Pine Leaf Oil.
It seems that there is a chance (albeit a small one) that someone could be allergic to one of these ingredients. If so, then you could possibly have side effects to the drops.
But aside from that, there really isn’t anything about either of these products that puts you at any risk for side effects.
The mouthpiece may be a bit uncomfortable for some people… and there is always a very small chance that it could cause a bit of discomfort. But this usually goes away very quickly as you get used to it. Besides… it is actually very rare to experience that with MADs anyway. Most people do not have side effect problems at all with such devices.
How Much Do AirSnore Products Cost?
If you order these products directly from AirSnore, then you will find that you will have the option to buy both parts individually… or, both together. The AirSnore Mouthpiece will cost you $49.95, the bottle of AirSnore Drops will cost you $59.95, and the combo set that comes with both gives you the best value for your money at $89.95.
But what is even better about this is that all of these come with fast and free shipping – which adds a lot of value to each package for the money.
What Do We Know About The Company Behind AirSnore?
Have We Found Any Scam Complaints?
We did quite a bit of searching online, and did find a few complaints associated with the AirSnore device. None of them, however, were scam complaints.
Also, with that being said, keep in mind that similar complaints exist for almost all MADs. Plus, most people do not seem to have a lot of trouble with the device… so people who have a problem with the device or the drops seem to be in the minority.
As for the drops, it would seem that there are far fewer complaints. For the most part, the only complaint that we found was that they don’t tend to last all night because they are not as strong as pure essential oils.
But once again… this seemed to be the minority. Most people seemed to really like it.
What Can Users Expect From AirSnore Products?
Users can expect for it to take a little while to get used to the Mouth Guard. As for the drops – there is really no adjustment period for them.
Do AirSnore Products Need Doctor Involvement Or A Prescription?
No. You will not need to get a doctor involved to order either of these products. You will not need a prescription either.
Maintenance Requirements And Replacement
The Drops would obviously need to be replaced when you ran out. As for how quickly you would use them – that depends on how often you use them, and on how many drops you would need.
The mouth piece only needs to be purchased once – but it does need to be cleaned regularly. You may also need to replace it after several months of use, depending on how well it holds up to your normal sleeping habits.
Our Verdict
In the end, we liked both of these solutions. They do have their drawbacks, but they are both solid products that are produced using pretty sound science.
They are not clinically tested… but they are similar to products that are. Plus, essential oils are a well-known holistic alternative to other medicines… so the drops also have that going for them.
