What You Need to Know About This Product
The SnoreMicro is actually a really interesting stop-snoring product that brings something ‘new’ to the market. We’ve never seen anything quite like this before, so this was a product that we were excited to take a look at.
We have also come to realize that this is actually a pretty widely-used product. More people use the SnoreMicro than we first thought when we started our research, so we were pretty interested in figuring out if it would live up to some of the positive feedback that we had seen for it.
It is technically a hybrid product, as it is both a nasal dilator and an EPAP device, though we would classify it as mostly an EPAP device.
As you will notice, it is labeled as an ‘anti-snore micro CPAP,’ but what exactly does this mean?
And more importantly… does it work?
Here is what you need to know.
SnoreMicro: Product Classification & Instructions For Use
The product is labeled as a Micro CPAP device… though we would actually label this as a micro EPAP device. And we can explain why.
First of all, CPAP stands for ‘Continuous Positive Airway Pressure.’ This is a treatment option for sleep apnea that is usually supplied with a machine that is hooked to a mask. You wear the mask, and the device supplies constant positive airway that helps to keep your airway from collapsing in on itself. This, in turn, helps to minimize incidences of snoring.
But EPAP uses the same basic principle, albeit through a slightly different mechanism. EPAP stands for ‘Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure.’ This is created, instead, by restricting outward airflow so that exhalation causes airway pressure to increase. This helps to keep the airway expanded as well… just not quite as efficiently.
But, as an advantage, EPAP devices do not require a power source—hence, why this nasal dilator does not need a battery or any sort of a fan to operate.
Side Note: EPAP devices are becoming more and more well-known as of late, because of how well they work. This was one of the biggest factors that made us interested in trying the SnoreMicro.
For this reason, we could actually classify this as an EPAP Stop Snoring Device, despite the fact that it is labeled as a CPAP device.
As for instructions for use, the concept is pretty simple.
You simply insert the rubber part of the device into your nasal passages, and then attach the included blue ventilation attachment before going to bed. You must wear the device every night in order for it to keep working—though this is pretty obvious. If you ever stop using it, you will fail to benefit from it.
This makes the EPAP (which they call CPAP) kick in and work to keep your air passages expanded.
How Does the SnoreMicro™ Anti Snore Micro CPAP Work?
This device seems to use two different mechanisms to help with snoring. The first one is the nasal dilation feature.
The rubber nasal dilators, which you insert into the nasal passages to keep the product ‘on,’ help to gently expand your nostrils—which helps to open up your airway. This promotes nasal breathing, which comes with a whole range of benefits.
And secondly, it works by using EPAP technology to keep the air pressure in your respiratory system elevated.
This helps to keep your airway from shrinking or expanding as you sleep, which is supposedly an effective way to treat not just snoring, but also more severe cases of mild to moderate sleep apnea.
SnoreMicro: Clinical Background and FDA Approval
On the official SnoreMicro home page, they say that the device has a 96% success rate, and is rated ‘one of the most effective anti-snoring devices in the market.’
And as far as FDA approval is concerned, we found no evidence that this device is FDA approved. But then again, there are a lot of stop-snoring devices out there in the marketplace that work absolutely perfectly without being FDA approved… so this was certainly not a deal-breaker where we were concerned.
We strive to keep an open mind about every device, regardless of its FDA status.
Can There Be Any Side Effects?
This seems to be a relatively new product on the market. But even with that being the case, it still seems like there are both positive and negative reviews circulating about it.
Obviously every device will suffer from at least some minor downsides for some users. But we also noticed that there seemed to be more positive reviews about the SnoreMicro that sounded legitimate to us. Sometimes, negative user reviews can be mostly chalked up to user-error, and we kind of felt like that was where some of the negative reviews were coming from where this device was concerned.
How Much Does This Product Cost?
You can buy the SnoreMicro for just $39.95 on the official product website. This is actually not too bad of a price, especially when you compare this product to some of the more expensive options on the market.
What Do We Know About the Company Behind the SnoreMicro CPAP?
What Can Users Expect From the SnoreMicro Product?
You can expect to have to get used to it a bit before it becomes really comfortable. Usually, products like this tend to be ‘weird’ to wear until you acclimate yourself to them.
But for the most part, we feel like this is a pretty easy product to get used to. Obviously every experience may be different, but we walked away from it feeling pretty good about the experience, to be fair.
Does This Product Require a Doctor’s Involvement or a Prescription?
No. You will not need a doctor’s involvement or a prescription to buy and/or use the SnoreMicro CPAP.
Our Verdict About SnoreMicro CPAP
We saw some decent upsides to this product, for sure.
On one hand, we love the fact that this is a hybrid nasal dilator/EPAP device. We also like the design and the concept. And to be completely fair, we were not really turned off by the price either. It is, at the very least, affordable enough to warrant a try.
Plus, it has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee… so those are the main upsides.
Of course, as with any product, there are also a few downsides. For one, it can take a few nights to get used to sleeping with something in your nose. In fact, some people give up on it before really giving it a try because of this… which might be one reason for why there are some negative reviews circulating around out there.
But really, all things considered, we were surprisingly happy with the SnoreMicro. Some people call it a gimmick, but we felt like it could have a lot to offer. EPAP technology is on the rise, and being a product that uses it in an inventive way, the SnoreMicro certainly earned some points with us.

SnoreMicro Anti Snore Micro CPAP
Summary: The technology behind this product is great and although this is the first micro CPAP device of this kind we’ve reviewed, we’re yet to confirm how effective this product is.
I am not sure about the CPAP part of this, but the nasal dilator part is pretty good. It is comfortable and works as well as nasal strips for me. In fact it is cheaper because I don’t have to keep buying boxes of them like I do with nasal strips! Recommended! I still wish it was cheaper, but hey, at least I get results.
Hi Patricia, I’m pleased to hear that it works for you.
I feel like the nasal dilator part of this product is the part that works the best. And honestly, this is a really good nasal dilator. I have used several different types. One type I tried REALLY hurt my nose, but the SleepRite is really gentle. I have super sensitive nostrils and I was still able to get used to it. It DOES take some getting used to though. You might not like it at first. I had a similar experience, but now my husband always reminds me to put it in before bedtime because I think HE sleeps better when I use it lol.
If I had to give this product a downside it would be that it took some getting used to. But I have also tried nasal strips, and I wasn’t happy with them either at first because of how they itched. But after I got used to the SleepRite I ended up preferring it, because it did a better job of helping me to breathe than nasal strips. I think the main thing to keep in mind is that you need to use it every night, and for long enough to get used to the feeling of having it in your nose. Once you get used to it, it can really help. It definitely helped my snoring. My wife says I am like a new man!
I think that a lot of people have reviewed this product without actually using it. I have tried it, and I can say without a doubt that it helped. Does it help as much as a mouthpiece? I am not sure about that. But when I moved I lost my mouthpiece and decided to try this. And I have not looked back. So it must be working enough that at least my girlfriend has stopped complaining!
I was worried that it wasn’t going to be the right size. They advertise it as one-size-fits-all, but I have tried two other types of nasal dilators, and I can tell you that most of them do NOT fit as well as advertised! But the SleepRite was actually pretty good. It didn’t hurt my nose like some dilators that I have tried. My snoring has also diminished, so I am pretty happy with it.
The product took awhile to arrive. I think it got stuck in customs. But I liked how it came in a carrying case. I also liked how soft it was. I have tried a few different nasal dilators, but this was one of the softest that I’ve tried. Thumbs up!
Hi Tom, it probably was as you’re not the first one who mentions the extra wait but I guess the most important part is that it was well worth the wait.
Take care!
It looks larger than you would think. It is actually a bit intimidating at first. But the dilator part is really soft, and using it is actually pretty non invasive. It is also really easy to clean. This was something I was worried about, as I am a bit of a clean-freak! But it worked really well actually. My snoring has cut back quite a bit.
I must say that I love how soft this is. I liked this one because it is supposed to help purify the air a little bit as well while you use it, and it is also supposed to have CPAP capabilities. Well it is certainly not a CPAP mask, but it works well enough that it has really helped my snoring. I feel like I sleep better when I use it, and that is what counts right?!
I was not super happy with the shipping, as it took a while. And once I got it, I was surprised by how large it was. But I tried it and got used to it after the first two nights. It seems to help too. So I like it.
I tried it last night. I liked it. It is comfortable and though my nose itched a little bit, I can’t complain. My wife said I snored way less, which is a plus. I think it was worth the money.
All those things that we do for our loved ones ehh. 🙂
It took me some time to get used to it, but I like it. It works. My snoring is not near as bad. Thumbs up!
My wife bought this for me because she was tired of me snoring. It was weird to get used to, but she made me keep using it. Now it doesn’t even bother me and it seems to work. My snoring bothered her more than it bothered me but the SleepRite seems to work well enough for her. I don’t mind using it.
Thanks for sharing your experience Mark. I’m glad that you found a solution that works for you.
I wouldn’t say that they do not work, nor would I say that they’re 100% effective. They did quiet down some of the snoring, but just a bit. I think mine and my wife’s case (me being the snorer), I’m going to need to try a combo of nose plug and a mouth guard. I’d also like to add, there has been a few nights when I removed them in my sleep without me knowing. Hopefully, I can find something that I can incorporate these with, as I do like the product. Or else, I think my wife may start forcing me to the couch. Lol she says I’m like sleeping with a Harley. I’ve heard the recordings and she’s right.
I have a question that you might be able to answer given the research you have done. I use a CPAP machine and am looking for something compact while still effective to use for sleep apnea for travel. I travel a lot and my machine is heavy and takes up a lot of space in my carry on. It always has to come out going through security at airports. Am I understanding in your review about this product that in order for it to work, you have to use it every night? If the is the case, can you recommend one that is compact like this one, effective and reasonably priced. The CPAP travel machine is $1500. I appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks for your research on this.
