What You Need To Know About The SnoreCoach

The SnoreCoach is actually a really different kind of stop snoring product, and we were quite interested in learning more about it. It is advertised as a ‘stop-snoring Bluetooth device,’ and was designed to be paired with an app called the SnoreTrack app. You can download the app for use with the iOS or Android, and it is said to be ‘the most intelligent solution to track your sleep and stop snoring now.’

But is the SnoreCoach really going to help with your snoring problem? And if so, how does it actually help?

We love the idea of combining technology with other sound stop-snoring products… but how does SnoreCoach accomplish this?

Here’s what we found out.

SnoreCoach Product Classification

This product is technically classified as a Bluetooth anti-snoring device. It is one of many new types of products that are using technology to help bring about better anti-snoring solutions. We are actually a pretty big fan of the idea of using Bluetooth technology in an anti-snoring product… so we were pretty interested in finding out more about this one.

But… one thing that we will say is this. The way that this product operates leaves us wondering if it would really do enough? This is the only possible downside… but we will discuss it further along in our review.

How Does SnoreCoach Work?

So, SnoreCoach works a bit differently from most products that we have looked at in the past… but it certainly seems to be following a new trend in techie-type stop snoring devices and products that we like.

Our only problem with these newer devices is that they are, as of yet, a bit unproven.

But… let’s forget about that for a moment, and move on to talk about how it works.

SnoreCoach clip-on device

So, the SnoreCoach mostly consists of a small clip-on device that clips to the back of the sleeper’s shirt. This little clip-on device is attached via BlueTooth to your smart phone, and is run by the app that you will download before setting it up.

So, the device basically attempts to stop you from snoring like this. When it detects that you are snoring, it creates a ‘buzzing’ vibration that is intended to get you to roll over or change positions. This, from our perspective, does a few different things. Firstly, would stimulate you enough to tighten up your throat muscles. And secondly, it would perhaps cause you to change positions enough that you might stop snoring as much for the rest of the night simply because you will find a better position to sleep in.

Most people snore much worse on their back than they do on their side.

How SnoreCoach works

It is also important to note that the SnoreCoach listens to your snoring through your cell phone/mobile device… so it is important to have it sitting within 5 feet of your mouth while sleeping. It is also interesting to note that the product tracks and records your snoring activity as well… so you can get a better idea of how bad your snoring actually is. This also allows you to see how well the device is actually working… which is awesome.

But yeah. That is how the SnoreCoach is supposed to work.

SnoreCoach: Clinical Background And FDA Approval

As far as we could tell, this product has not gone through any FDA approval or clinical testing. From the sound of it, the product has been tested in a technical setting, because the company seems to know exactly how much battery life it takes to run the app and device (the app will use up about 10% of a new battery’s power over the course of the night). But as far as clinical data is concerned, we did not see any reference to testing like this over the course of our research.

Can There Be Any Side Effects?

We have not seen any reason to believe that this product would cause any sort of side effect. In fact, you can even use the vibrating clip as an alarm… and since it is silent, it can wake you up without waking up your partner.

How Much Does SnoreCoach Cost?

The SnoreCoach costs $98. You can download the app for free, and obviously, you need to have a mobile device that is Bluetooth compatible before you can actually use the product.

What Do We Know About The Company Behind SnoreCoach?

Screenshot of SnoreCoach websiteAs far as a history of the company is concerned, Huneo says that they have ‘processed and analyzed data from many thousands of over-night sleep diagnostic tests.’ They say in the About Us section of their website that this data helped them to formulate the patent-pending algorithms that they used to create both the SnoreTrack App and the SnoreCoach.

The best way to get in touch with Huneo, the company behind the SnoreCoach, is to email them on their official product website via the e-contact form. But you can also email them here:

There is a 30 day money back guarantee offered with the SnoreCoach. It is also made in the USA, and comes with free shipping inside of the US.
We did quite a bit of research about this company, and found that most of the reports sound legitimate. This product (and the company behind it) sounds reputable to us. It is definitely not a scam.

What Can Users Expect From SnoreCoach?

If you use this product, you will obviously have a bit of a learning period to adjust to. It might wake you up every time it vibrates at first, but over time you will likely get used to it and not even wake up when it activates.

Does SnoreCoach Require A Doctor’s Involvement Or A Prescription?

No. You will not need a doctor’s help or a prescription to buy and/or use the SnoreCoach.

Our Verdict

First of all, we have to say that we like new products… especially when they utilize new technologies that might bring a new perspective to an old problem.

And it seems that we would likely all agree that snoring is an old problem.

But is this the best way to solve it?

This seems like a good theoretical idea—but it is, as of yet, a bit soon to say for sure if it is really going to do the trick.

SnoreCoach packagingThis Bluetooth technology really has the potential to revolutionize the snoring marketplace—for a lot of reasons. Bringing the complexity of mobile technology to something like an anti-snoring product is an awesome idea. But the problem is this… it is still a bit untested.

We would love to come back around and take a look at this product a few years from now. What will customers be saying about it? Will it have any clinical testing to back it up?

These apps can sometimes be finicky, and we find ourselves wondering if this will contribute to a lack in ability of the product to really execute and stop snoring problems. But as of yet, only a lot of customer feedback or clinical data will tell us the truth.

If you are looking for a product that is tech-driven, but that is also very minimally invasive, then this one might be for you. We love how these new devices hitting the market do not require you to stick a mouthpiece in your mouth.

But are they as useful?

We would recommend giving this one a try if you are interested—but we remain just a tad bit skeptical. It would doubtlessly work for some… but will it work for everyone?

Leave us your thoughts/experiences if you have ever tried it. We would love to hear your feedback. PS, you might be interested in Smart Nora which is another tech anti-snoring product we recently reviewed.

The Costs To Get The SnoreCoach Shipped To Canada

It will cost you $9.03 to get this product shipped to you if you live in Canada. There are obviously more expensive options too… but this is the cheapest one.

Where Can I Buy The SnoreCoach If I Live In Canada?

The best place to buy this product if you live in Canada is on the official SnoreCoach website.
